What is the best way to tone your thighs?

I have a bit of excess weight on my thighs and I want to lose the weight and tone up my thighs. Anything I have tried already hasn't had any results. What sort of exercises will help me get my legs toned up & how often do I need to do them?

Squats are my number 1 movement, any squatting movement, whether with or without weight, these exercises are going to give you the greatest results. Deadlifts are another exercise that will give you fantastic results if done correctly. You can train legs everyday as long as you vary the movements.

Tips for success:
1. Learn to squat and deadlift correctly.
2. Incorporate a different exercise into every training session you do.
3. Aim to train at least 4 times a week.
4. Work at an intensity that is challenging to you physically and mentally.
5. Ensure you have a good nutritional plan.
