I agree it’s overwhelming choosing the right recipe book, which is why I have put one together. Eating For The Seasons will be out later this year. I have separated the recipes into sections - breakfast, lunch, soup, sides, dinner, sweet things and drinks and then put them into the appropriate season. All of the recipes are super easy, using no fancy techniques. These recipes are for anyone who wants to cook healthy meals easily and quickly at home.  

Until then why not use your search engine? Any recipe you want is only a few clicks away. For example, if you want a low fat/high protein dinner that takes less than 10 minutes to cook that’s just what you’ll find. If you feel like a gluten-free Indian meal, then chances are you’ll find hundreds of recipes.   

I don’t see the point in having dozens of recipe books (apart from the fact that they are usually so visually pleasing) that just don‘t get used. I haven‘t been a recipe book user but I have found inspiration in the following:
Saha by Greg Malouf (Lebanese food)
The Millennium Cookbook by Eric Tucker (vegan food)
Nurture by Aine McAteer
